About Us
Welcome to Immediate-Help Foundation.
How We Got Started
Immediate-Help Foundation was founded by Leader David Abuchi Nwaneri, driven by a deep passion to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged. The vision for the foundation was born out of a simple yet powerful realization: while some people have more than enough, many struggle daily just to survive.
Looking around our communities, we saw young children unable to attend school due to lack of sponsorship, petty traders struggling to feed their families, and youths forced into street hawking just to make ends meet. At the same time, we knew there were people with resources, eager to help but lacking a structured way to do so.
This is where Immediate-Help Foundation stepped in—with the belief that even a 1% impact can create lasting change. If we could empower just one person out of a hundred, whether through education, financial support, or opportunities for growth, we could break cycles of poverty and inspire transformation.
Our foundation is not just about giving; it’s about creating a platform where those who have the means—no matter how small—can extend a helping hand to those in need. We believe that every act of kindness, no matter how little, leaves an unforgettable mark on the lives it touches.
What started as a vision to help one person at a time has now evolved into a movement for sustainable impact—starting in Nigeria and expanding across Africa. Immediate-Help Foundation is committed to making a measurable difference, one life, one community, and one opportunity at a time.
Our Mission
At Immediate-Help Foundation (IHF), our mission is to empower African communities and create a measurable 1% positive impact by providing sustainable solutions, promoting social justice, and fostering partnerships to address pressing challenges across the continent.
We believe that small, intentional actions can create significant change. By focusing on high-impact, localized initiatives, we aim to uplift 1% of Africa’s population, ensuring that even the most vulnerable individuals have access to opportunities, resources, and support systems that can transform their lives.
🌍 Starting in Nigeria, Expanding Across Africa
IHF is launching its operations in Nigeria, a country with diverse socio-economic challenges but also immense potential for transformation. From Nigeria, we plan to scale our impact across the continent, reaching more communities, empowering more people, and fostering sustainable development in different regions of Africa.
By working at the grassroots level, we are committed to understanding the unique needs of each community and developing solutions that are African-led, community-driven, and sustainable.
🚻 Ending Open Defecation: Our First National Campaign
Our first major intervention is focused on tackling the critical issue of open defecation, a major public health and environmental concern that affects millions across Nigeria. This initiative aims to drive behavior change, improve sanitation infrastructure, and promote dignity through access to proper toilet facilities and hygiene education.
As part of this national campaign, IHF will focus on:
✅ Community Sensitization and Advocacy: Engaging local leaders, schools, and residents to raise awareness about the dangers of open defecation and the benefits of proper sanitation.
✅ Sanitation Infrastructure Support: Facilitating the construction and rehabilitation of safe, accessible toilet facilities in underserved communities.
✅ Behavior Change Education: Promoting hygiene education, especially among youth, women, and vulnerable groups, to encourage long-term sanitation habits.
✅ Policy Engagement and Partnerships: Collaborating with government agencies, civil society, and development partners to support Nigeria’s goal of becoming open defecation free.
Through this initiative, we aim to protect public health, restore dignity to affected populations, and contribute meaningfully to national and global efforts toward improved sanitation and sustainable development.
Our Programs
At Immediate-Help Foundation (IHF), our programs are designed to uplift communities, create measurable change, and foster long-term development. We prioritize education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and environmental conservation, ensuring that our initiatives positively impact 1% of Africa’s population—starting from Nigeria and expanding across the continent.

We engage local stakeholders, educate residents, and support infrastructure improvements to protect public health and restore dignity.

New Mums Support Program
Helping new mothers navigate the early stages of childcare with essential support.
Motherhood comes with challenges, especially for women in underserved communities who lack access to basic childcare necessities.

1% Education Access Initiative
Bridging the education gap by ensuring that every child has access to quality learning opportunities.
Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, yet millions of children in Africa lack access to quality education.
